I finally found something that I think I may be in love with. YARN WREATHS! I've been looking at them on etsy and just obsessing over their cuteness...and then yesterday I had an epiphany...why not make my own? I'm an art teacher, so that should automatically say that I have at least SOME ability to make pretty things. I just have to get off my booty and do it! So my husband left me for the day and I thought to myself...why not try to make a yarn wreath? So I found a nifty little blog that showed step by step how to make them. A quick jaunt to Jo-Ann and $15 later, I had my stuff. I put on a bad Netflix movie and started my first yarn wreath. Here is the result:
I'm pretty stoked about the results! I've had lots of compliments and a few requests already. So here it is...the adventures of yarn wreath making. I'm going to make lots of these and learn how to make more things out of felt and add other embellishments. Stay tuned!
